The Opportunity
CGI is building a Salesforce architecture capability for a long-term CRM transformation program for a major international retail client.
The initiative combines new greenfield Salesforce implementations, creating a modern customer engagement platform across multiple business domains.
The Salesforce landscape will primarily be built around:
• Salesforce Service Cloud
A key architectural component will be the integration of Service Cloud with enterprise contact center platforms, such as Genesys Cloud or similar CCaaS solutions.
This role offers true architectural ownership within a multi-year transformation program, working with a compact senior team and international stakeholders.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
What You Will Own
As Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for defining and evolving the Salesforce solution architecture within the program.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing the Salesforce architecture for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Leading architecture decisions during replatforming and new capability development
• Defining integration architecture and API strategy between Salesforce and enterprise systems
• Designing Service Cloud integrations with contact center platforms
• Establishing architecture standards and best practices
• Supporting solution design with developers and technical leads
• Providing technical guidance to the Salesforce delivery team
• Participating in architecture reviews and key design decisions with international stakeholders
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Experience
• Strong experience with the Salesforce ecosystem
• Proven architecture experience with:
o Salesforce Sales Cloud
o Salesforce Service Cloud
• Experience integrating Service Cloud with call center / contact center platforms
• Experience designing enterprise integrations (API-based architecture)
• Experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations
Languages:
• English – working proficiency
• Czech – working proficiency
Nice to Have
• Experience with contact center platforms such as
Genesys Cloud
• Experience with additional Salesforce clouds
• Salesforce architecture certifications
• Experience in retail or high-volume customer environments
Team & Program Structure
• Initial team size: ~6 specialists
• Later phases: 10–12 team members
• Agile delivery environment
• International stakeholder collaboration
Working Model
• Hybrid work model
• Preferred location: Prague or nearby
• Initially 2 days per week in office during early project phase
• Later flexible by agreement
Travel:
• Minimal
• Occasional short trips within the EU (few days only)
