Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Functional Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, translate them into clear functional specifications, and support the delivery of effective, scalable solutions.

You will be involved throughout the solution lifecycle, from analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement to supporting implementation, testing, and continuous enhancement. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Act as the bridge between business needs and technical execution by interpreting business processes and embedding them into platform configurations and solution design, together with the development teams;
• Define and align service contracts in accordance with the established architecture and business requirements;
• Validate that the implemented solution aligns with business processes, compliance requirements, and governance standards;
• Coordinate across squads, is SPOC for countries and leads harmonization of solution;
• Understand the capabilities and limitations of the specific solution or platform;
• Responsible for functional design within the defined solution scope;
• Support with problem analysis.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proven expertise and relevant work experience as Solution Expert in a tech setup (multinational or startup) for checkout POS solutions;
• Good analytical skills - you know how to ask the right questions and how to summarize everything in one picture;
• Having the ability to turn complex concepts into simple language and vice versa;
• Mastering strategic business process modeling, traceability, linking of dependent tasks, and quality management techniques;
• Very good fluency in English (written and verbal);
• Experience in calling, testing, and validating APIs using appropriate tools;
• Database knowledge (to be able to run SQL statements);
• Good testing skills;
• Experience with BigQuery and Google Data Studio\ Looker Studio;
• Experience in managing stakeholders relations, preparing and conducting presentations and briefing your teams (Dev, Support, QA);
• Being able to manage and facilitate communication in a challenging, complex and international work environment.

Nice to have or similar tools and open to learn
• .NET Knowledge to be able to check the code would be a plus;
• Experience with Visual Paradigm\ Draw.io;
• Experience with DataDog– to be able to create simple dashboards.
