Position Description
CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a SailPoint IAM Analyst. You will enhance the cyber security posture of seven (7) civilian government agencies through improved implementation and enhancement of network monitoring and control tools and processes. You will actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks and will also work closely with a variety of agency stakeholders, supporting their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project focused on improving federal cybersecurity at the seven target agencies over the next six (6) years.

- Work with a highly technical team focusing on supporting the integrating of next generation cyber security technologies for a strategic federal customer.
- Activities include hands on support of Information Assurance Security Engineer/Analyst to be part of a security team that supports Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and all other relevant cybersecurity standards, directives and policies, including the alignment with the administration, implementation and configuration of security tools to enhance the risk posture of customer networks.
- This includes applying technical expertise in implementing efficiencies and creating strategies to better detect and support security controls and respond to cyber incidents by prioritizing mitigation actions.
- Ability to collaborate and work with a diverse group of Security Engineers in developing solutions for complex challenges.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Develop and update the system security plan, configuration of system controls, POA&M, security assessment reports and any other additional security documentation.
- Perform security assessments of systems and networks and establish strict program control processes to ensure risk mitigation.
- Provide continuous monitoring that includes software compliance and assurance, incident management and vulnerability assessments.
- Analyzes and drafts critical functional analysis for SFR/SRR.
- Documentation of system controls.
- Supports third party security assessment activities.
- Supports IATT.
- Conducts audit log management and supports cyber policy compliance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in federal government information security. Candidates with a Master's degree must have 2 years of related IA experience.
- Security+ Certification.
- Extensive experience creating System Security Plans (SSP).
- Extensive experience in leading security assessments and audits.
- Extensive experience Identifying and mitigating security risks.
- Extensive experience in creating POA&Ms.
- Extensive experience creating Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
- A good understanding of security policy compliance.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance/investigation to start employment.
- Must be able to pass a CGI background check to start employment.

Desired:
- Security relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH.
- Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 - Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems: a Security Life Cycle Approach and NIST 800-137 - Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations.
- Understanding of the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM).
