Risk Management Framework (RMF) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. This SME will ensure the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process for systems or hosting environments, located in various types of computing environments and test facilities, during integration and prior to sustainment, are compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Support cybersecurity requirements definition by identifying controls to be put in place for the identified systems and networks.
- Recommend processes for maintaining and enforcing cybersecurity posture for identified systems, networks and systems in support of security engineering.
- Document the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements and processes in accordance with NIST 800-37/DoN Risk Management Framework Process Guide v 2.0.
- Coordinate requirements to ensure compliance with all pertinent, regulatory cybersecurity policies; ensure that all RMF artifacts and associated A&A support documentation comply with current Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Instruction (CJCSI), DoD, DON and NIWC, Atlantic mandates and regulations in support of security engineering.
- Ensure all systems, networks, servers or associated devices procured and/or connected to a Navy network for the purposes of integration have completed DADMS registration and received FAM approval
- Ensure all systems integrated, installed or operational on Navy networks are FAM approved and registered in DITPR-DON
- Evaluate IT security architectures for the development, certification and accreditation process in accordance with all applicable DoD and DON guidelines
