Position Description:

This position must be filled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

As a member of leading US Bank’s Quality Engineering team, you will be performing Data Quality Engineer (Lead) – responsibilities including design and implementation of Manual and Automated Test Solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for test deliverables of assigned project/modules from inception to deployment.
- Build and Maintain test strategy, plan and test suit to validate ETL pipelines, reports and other data products.
- Execute and validate all components of Big Data/DWH/ETL processes.
- Create and Maintain Test Suites for existing/new features for end-to-end data validation solutions.
- Ensure assigned project’s release activities meet Enterprise Project Quality Assurance Standards by working with the Lead QE.
- Perform Data Validation using medium to complex SQL queries.
- Build Data Validation automation solutions within assigned project for all phases of test life cycle where applicable using Python & PySpark.
- As a member of agile team, participate in all ceremonies, scrum calls, demos and planning sessions.
- Maintain constant communication with BA’s, LOB and other project members including global delivery teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- 5+ years of Experience with Big Data/ETL/DWH Testing experience with RDMBS and/or Hadoop with Reporting.
- Ability to analyze and understand complex integrated data applications to plan and deliver end to end test solutions.
- Very Good in SQL to validate complex transformations, including but not limited to Joins, Various functions, CTE’s.
- Must have good understanding of Python/PySpark Data Testing approach and frameworks with 1+ years of hands-on experience.
- Excellent in planning and implementing test solutions for Table and File ingestion ETL processes. Exposure to Real-Time streaming applications is also a plus.
- Candidates should be excellent in testing process, defect management and other aspects of Quality Engineering Life Cycle.
- Defect Lifecycle Management, Develop and Maintain Test Artifacts throughout the Testing Life Cycle
- Excellent in Communications with previous experience in Client facing role and interactions with various LOB’s and BA’s
- JIRA/XRAY or similar Agile Project and Test management tool experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,800.00 - $108,300.00.
