ETL Test Coordinator

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Coordinator – ETL to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ETL testing, Databricks, Azure, SQL, and Python. This role involves coordinating test activities, ensuring data integrity, and validating data pipelines in a cloud-based environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end ETL testing activities across multiple data sources and systems.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
• Validate data transformations, data quality, and data integrity in Databricks and Azure environments.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform root cause analysis of data issues and work with development teams to resolve defects.
• Automate test cases using Python and SQL for regression and performance testing.
• Monitor test progress, report defects, and provide regular status updates to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, best practices, and documentation protocols.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in QA/testing with a focus on ETL and data validation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure Data Services.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test automation.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
