Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Check Specialist to join our team, specializing in eLearning, video content, and microlearning assets. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance with a strong understanding of instructional design principles, video production, and digital learning standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our digital learning products by reviewing and validating content across multiple formats and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive quality checks on eLearning courses, videos, and microlearning content to ensure they meet design specifications, brand guidelines, and industry standards.
• Conduct reviews for consistency, accuracy, grammar, and visual appeal, ensuring content aligns with learning objectives and instructional design principles.
• Validate interactivity, navigation, and functionality in SCORM, xAPI, and LMS-delivered content.
• Test content across devices and platforms (web, mobile, LMS) to ensure a seamless user experience and compliance with responsive design standards.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, multimedia developers, and subject matter experts to address identified issues and enhance content quality.
• Review and ensure the accessibility of digital content according to 508 compliance, ADA, WCAG 2.1 guidelines and other relevant standards.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation of quality check findings, including recommendations for improvement.
• Track and manage quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital learning and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree or diploma in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in eLearning, digital content, or multimedia production.
• Strong knowledge of eLearning authoring tools and other learning content production tools
• Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and LMS platforms, with experience in troubleshooting and validating content integration.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and experience in conducting accessibility reviews.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey feedback effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and be able to multitask and work under pressure
• Proficient in quality check processes, including testing scenarios, test case development, and reporting.
• Ability to stay focused and flexible and be ready to work in different time zones when needed
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or Agile.
• Familiarity with gamification principles and microlearning strategies.
