Position Description:

Data Engineer
Design and develop machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions to solve complex business problems using data from various sources.Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to gather and preprocess data; ensuring data quality and reliability for analysis.Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services; particularly SQL; BigQuery; BigQueryML; AirFlow; Dataflow; Vertex AI Platform; and TensorFlowApply statistical analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns; trends; and correlations in data; and translate findings into actionable insights.Develop and deploy production-ready machine learning models using Google Cloud AI Platform or other relevant technologies.Perform model evaluation and validation and iterate on models to continuously improve performance and accuracy.Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide data-driven recommendations and insights to support decision-making.Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science; machine learning; and Google Cloud technologies; and contribute to the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions within the organization.Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science; Statistics; Mathematics; or related field.3-5 years of experience in data science; machine learning; or a related field; with proven expertise in developing and deploying machine learning models.Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services; particularly BigQuery; Dataflow; AI Platform; and TensorFlow.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g.; pandas; NumPy; scikit-learn).Strong understanding of statistical analysis; machine learning algorithms; and data modeling techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Google Cloud certifications (e.g.; Professional Data Engineer; Professional Machine Learning Engineer) are a plus.
