Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 1-2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are looking for a skilled Quadient Inspire Designer Developer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of customer communication solutions across print and digital channels.
In this role, you will design and maintain data-driven document templates, implement dynamic content and business rules, and ensure high-quality output aligned with functional specifications and data requirements.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, quality assurance, and technical partners, to support development, testing, deployment, and production processes.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain customer communication solutions using Quadient Inspire Designer
• Build and configure document templates, including letters, statements, and notices
• Implement dynamic content, conditional logic, and personalization rules
• Develop data-driven communications using structured data (XML, JSON, CSV)
• Translate functional specifications and data mappings into scalable template solutions
• Validate and ensure output accuracy in collaboration with QA and business partners
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to template logic, data mapping, and document rendering
• Support testing cycles, deployment activities, and production releases
• Contribute to continuous improvement of document composition processes and standards
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Qualifications
Functional Expertise
• Experience building and maintaining document templates in Quadient Inspire Designer
• Strong understanding of conditional logic, rules configuration, and dynamic content
• Ability to interpret functional specifications and data requirements
• Experience validating output and collaborating with QA processes
• Familiarity with production support and issue resolution practices
Technical Skills
• Quadient Inspire Designer (core expertise)
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, and CSV data structures and data mapping techniques
• Understanding of Variable Data Printing (VDP) and document composition logic
• Experience with data-driven template design and rule configuration
• Basic scripting using JavaScript (within templates)
• Familiarity with REST and/or SOAP APIs
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to React or TypeScript for supporting UI tools or integrations
• Experience working with Customer Communications Management (CCM) platforms
• Understanding of end-to-end communication workflows

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy."
