Position Description
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our / client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

We are seeking a QE Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce testing, Web UI and API testing, and proficiency with modern automation tools. This role requires collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• UI Automation: Design and maintain robust automated test scripts for web applications using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright. Focus on cross-browser compatibility and responsive design validation.
• API Testing: Develop automated functional, integration, and contract tests for RESTful/GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured.
• Framework Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of our automation frameworks, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects. Work closely with Developers and Product Managers to prioritize fixes and verify resolutions.
• Shift-Left Strategy: Participate in design and sprint planning sessions to identify potential quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Performance & Security: Assist in basic load testing and security vulnerability scanning at both the UI and API levels.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Languages
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
UI Testing
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium Webdriver.
API Testing
• Deep understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML. Tools: Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
CI/CD
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Database
• Ability to write SQL queries to validate data integrity.
Version Control
• Mastery of Git (branching, merging, pull requests).

Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000–$105,000. This role is an existing vacancy."
