We have a new opportunity for a PMO to join our team at the start of a new project in the exciting growth phase.

Be a critical part of our project management team, contributing to the governance, coordination, planning and monitoring, to ensure successful project delivery.

This role would suit an aspiring Project Manager, or someone with superior project administration or corporate operations experience.

Flexible work is available including hybrid work from a CGI or client office 2-3 days/week (and as needed by the client).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure that the project runs smoothly by providing critical project coordination and support.
• Be involved in tracking, reporting, scheduling, resourcing, quality management, financial administration, updating systems and providing general administrative support.
• Act as the main point of contact for projects and be able to signpost appropriate resources, processes, tools and templates
• Be proactive in raising issues, investigate and suggest improvements.
• Develop best practice and standards for the project using CGI tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with and connect people.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years in project administration, a corporate operations team, or entry level project management.
• Experience working in an IT consulting organisation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Be a proactive team player who is a natural problem-solver.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple competing tasks.
• A fast learner with excellent attention to detail.
• Australian work rights required
