PMO Finance (Graveyard Shift)

Position Description:

We are hiring a PMO Finance Specialist to support project financial management, reporting, and analysis, driving accuracy and efficiency in project governance

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in Portfolio and Project Management

• Hands-on experience in Project Financial Management support, including Reporting and Analysis, Monthly Closing, Budget Management, Resource Planning, Cost Plan Analysis, and Reconciliation

• Initiate and spearhead improvements; share best practices

• Act as the primary contact for leadership inquiries, requests, and ad hoc activities

• Provide PMO support such as Status Reporting, Financial Reporting, Data/Report Quality, and report extracts

• Attend leadership meetings and present project or financial status updates

• Prepare administrative reports and perform additional tasks as requested by the client

• Perform other functions as may be required by the Lead/Manager

• Willingness to work flexible shifts as required by the team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Action-oriented, with the ability to assume ownership of requests/issues/escalations and deliver effective resolutions to customers
• Customer-oriented (understands customer needs, adds value, and responds with urgency)
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to meet dynamic business needs
• Experience, proficiency, and confidence in communicating and working effectively with stakeholders
• A sense of autonomy, initiative, and responsibility
• Motivated self-starter who takes initiative to resolve issues
• Quality-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in following and writing process documentation
• Amenable to working mid-shift and complying with BU RTO requirements
• Willing to work graveyard shift
