Position Description:

The position
We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team within an Agile@Scale organization. The candidate will act as a player within the team and will be responsible for the successful execution of the squad’s user stories related to technical activities.
Like each member of the squad, they will also ensure that the platform meets business requirements, security standards, and offers a high-quality user experience.
A good understanding of the relevant technologies, combined with detailed knowledge of the product ecosystem, is essential to achieving our squad’s objectives.
Finally, they will work closely with the Analytics teams and cross-functional IT teams (Architecture, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and Network).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Communication and collaboration:
Communicate technical plans, progress, and status updates to stakeholders, including product owners or business representatives.
Collaborate with other teams, such as DevOps, Security, Architecture, and Analytics, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of initiatives.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Sprint review, Daily stand-up meetings, etc.) and contribute with expertise on technical subjects during backlog refinement.
Understand the needs expressed by platform users and translate them into sustainable and secure IT solutions.
Problem-solving skills:
Resolve complex technical issues and provide solutions to ensure the stability and performance of the platform.
Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize technical debt and develop plans to address it.
Actively monitor the platform, detecting and correcting potential vulnerabilities or recurring issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Technical skills
Mandatory
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure projects/subjects, including at least 3 years as DevOps role.
Experience in maintaining a Production platform in operational condition.
Cloud engineering skills:
Networking (Firewall, routing)
Storage (COS, Buckets…)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
File Transfer (CFT)
Security (Vault, certificates, vulnerabilities…)
Monitoring (Grafana)
Log Management (ELK)
Experience with DevOps tools, such as:
GitLab
GitLab CI/CD
Artifactory
Fortify
NexusIQ
Confluence
Jira
Strong scripting skills in Python.
Skills in creating Docker images.
Proficiency in English (fluent).
Optional
Knowledge of non-relational databases, specifically MongoDB.
Familiarity with specific platform tools.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools.
Proficiency in the French language.

Must be physically in Portugal, and a work at the office 3/5 days a week
