Open Text Content Server Business Analyst (Consultant)
Responsibilities
• All aspects of Open Text Content Server (OTCS) implementation and deployment planning:
o design, configuration, testing, implementation, and deployment of ECM solutions using OTCS (Workflows, eForms, WebReport, LiveReport, Records Management, Physical Objects, Classifications, etc.), and
o consulting and support of Content Server-based applications for global deployments;
• Configuration of OTCS core and optional modules;
• Design and develop OTCS Workflows, eForms:
o Workflow maps,
o eForms templates design and development;
• Design Community, Information, Security (CIS) Model for OTCS solution implementation;
• Planning and design of OTCS Classifications and RM Classifications;
• Planning and design of OTCS categories and attributes;
• Implementing OTCS Records Management module (would be an asset);
• Implementing OTCS Physical Objects module (would be an asset);
• Design of custom OTCS appearances;
• Design of OTCS LiveReports and SQL reports;
• Working with a project team and clients to develop formal design specifications;
• Developing design specifications and providing level of effort estimates;
• Configuring solutions according to design specifications;
• Developing and executing formal test plans and scenarios;
• Establishing OTCS implementation standards and best practices; and
• Maintenance and support of OTCS solutions after implementation.
Skills
• A minimum three (3) years of Open Text Livelink 9.7.x or Content Server 10.x planning and implementation experience, including experience with OTCS core modules, Workflows, eForms, RM Module, Physical Objects Module, Classifications, RM Classifications, Case Management, Contract Lifecycle Management
• A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Business Analyst/Consultant, including experience with Enterprise Content Management solution design, planning, implementation, deployment and support. Experience with OTCS ECM solution would be an asset
• Experience with OTCS Web Reports module would also be an asset;
• Strong analysis and interpersonal skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
• Open Text Content Server (Livelink) Business Consultant Certification (would be an asset).
Additional role description from the SOW (please do not publish this bit, more for your information):
The ECM Consultant will provide the following Services:
- Participate and contribute in the Business Analyst for the implementation of a single source data tracking system toward OpenText Content Server;
- Develop following documented project deliverables:
- Strategy
• Review scope, objectives, and project plan
- Analysis
• Requirements Analysis for the waste solution:
• Conduct workshops to validate the business requirements;
• Conduct workshops in order to develop a Community Information &
• Develop access control and security model
• Develop a system requirements document.
- Participate in the Solution Design
• Develop the functional design configurations and prototypes. Functional design should include but not be limited to out of the box functionalities, workflows, reports and customization;
• Define the access control security model;
• Develop the deployment plan.
- Participate in the Testing and Training
• Develop a Test Plan, system test cases and test cases for User Acceptance testing;
• Conduct testing In the Test/UAT environment. Testing should include system testing, security testing and installation testing at a minimum;
• Draft training plan and training material for new data tracking solution;
• Provide end user training to client staff;
• Knowledge transfer workshop to client’s designated system administrator to understand the security access assigned to individuals, Your future duties and responsibilities
