Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle NetSuite Systems Operations Analyst to join a technology team responsible for supporting a client's business critical NetSuite ERP and commerce environment.

This role will focus on the operational stability, monitoring, support, and continuous improvement of NetSuite and its connected systems. The Systems Operations Analyst will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Customer Service, development, integration, infrastructure, and vendor teams to monitor production processing, investigate system issues, coordinate incident resolution, and support releases and operational changes.

The successful candidate will have at least three years of hands on NetSuite experience and a working understanding of financial, accounting, commerce, order management, and payment processing operations. This individual must be comfortable managing production issues, analyzing transaction and integration failures, communicating business impact, and coordinating technical teams through resolution.

*This role is located at our client site in Alexandria, VA in a hybrid environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Support the daily operation, availability, performance, and stability of Oracle NetSuite and its connected systems.
. Perform daily operational health checks and monitor scheduled jobs, scripts, workflows, integrations, transaction queues, and processing exceptions.
. Review system logs, API and middleware messages, transaction histories, script execution results, and error reports to identify operational issues.
. Investigate incidents involving transaction processing, integrations, financial data, commerce activity, user access, system performance, and scheduled processes.
. Assess and document business impact, affected users and transactions, available workarounds, operational risks, and recovery actions.
. Perform initial root cause analysis to determine whether issues are related to configuration, data, customizations, integrations, infrastructure, or business processes.
. Coordinate incident response across NetSuite developers, solution architects, integration teams, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
. Provide timely status updates for high priority and customer impacting incidents and escalate risks before they cause significant business disruption.
. Facilitate support discussions, document decisions and action items, and track incidents through resolution and closure.
. Support root cause analysis documentation and track corrective and preventive actions.
. Analyze recurring incidents and recommend permanent fixes, automation, monitoring, controls, or process improvements.
. Monitor and support end to end transaction flows across source systems, NetSuite, integrations, subledgers, and the general ledger.
. Coordinate data corrections, transaction reprocessing, and remediation activities in accordance with established financial and operational controls.
. Validate that corrected or reprocessed transactions complete successfully through the full end to end workflow.
. Provide operational support for Finance and Accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, invoicing, payments, credits, refunds, and financial reporting.
. Investigate financial transaction discrepancies and processing exceptions and assist users with saved searches, operational reports, exception reports, and data analysis.
. Support commerce and order management processes involving customers, products, pricing, inventory, sales orders, payments, invoices, refunds, credits, and fulfillment.
. Investigate failed or delayed order synchronization and customer impacting issues involving checkout, payment authorization, order creation, invoicing, refunds, and fulfillment.
. Support operational activities related to product setup, catalog updates, pricing changes, item records, and customer records.
. Partner with Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Customer Service, Operations, and Technology teams to validate transaction status, business impact, and resolution.
. Maintain operating procedures, runbooks, monitoring checklists, support documentation, and escalation paths.
. Support NetSuite releases, configuration changes, application enhancements, integrations, and production deployments.
. Participate in release planning, operational readiness reviews, change impact assessments, deployment coordination, and rollback planning.
. Assist with test case preparation, system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and post production validation.
. Review proposed changes for potential impacts to financial, commerce, integration, and operational processes.
. Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and after hours production or release support when required.
. Monitor production systems following deployments and coordinate the resolution of release related issues.
. Communicate technical issues, operational risks, and resolution plans clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
. Build strong working relationships with business users and serve as a trusted NetSuite systems operations partner.

 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. At least three years of hands on Oracle NetSuite experience in systems operations, application support, production support, business systems analysis, or a related role.
. Experience supporting NetSuite environments used by Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Order Management, or Customer Service teams.
. Working knowledge of NetSuite financial and operational transaction flows.
. Experience supporting order to cash processes, including customers, sales orders, payments, invoices, credits, refunds, and fulfillment.
. Experience investigating NetSuite production issues involving transactions, integrations, scripts, workflows, data, or system configurations.
. Ability to review NetSuite system notes, transaction histories, script execution logs, integration errors, and scheduled process results.
. Experience monitoring and supporting integrations between NetSuite and external enterprise platforms.
. Experience documenting business impact, root cause findings, corrective actions, and incident resolutions.
. Experience working with incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
. Experience supporting system testing, regression testing, production validation, and release activities.
. Strong analytical and structured troubleshooting skills.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
. Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business users, vendors, and client leadership.
. Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized during high impact production incidents.
. Ability to participate in scheduled after hours maintenance, release, or critical incident support when required.

Preferred

. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
. NetSuite SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant certification.
. Experience with NetSuite OneWorld.
. Experience supporting SuiteCommerce or SuiteCommerce Advanced.
. Familiarity with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteCloud, RESTlets, SOAP or REST web services, and NetSuite integration patterns.
. Experience with enterprise integration platforms or middleware solutions.
. Experience supporting payment gateways, CRM systems, tax platforms, banking applications, or e commerce platforms.
. Understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, billing, revenue, and financial close processes.
. Experience supporting high volume transaction environments.
. Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar service management and work tracking platforms.
. Familiarity with ITIL practices, Agile delivery, managed services, or client facing technology support.
. Experience supporting audit controls, access controls, segregation of duties, and financial data integrity.
. Experience creating operational dashboards, saved searches, exception reports, or system alerts.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $122,574.00 - $188,100.00.
