.NET Developer (Black Knight / Empower Experience)
Position Description
We are looking for a .Net developer with experience working on Black Knight Empower system. You should have understanding of high-level functionality and technical details for developing solutions for on and around Empower.
You will build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects.
Experience working with development technologies such as C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server, TFS, Visual Studio, JavaScript/ES6, JQuery, WCF Services, WebAPI, REST and SOAP.
Your goal will be to work with the customer teams to design, develop and maintain software.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Participating in requirements analysis
• Writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Modifying existing web applications using .NET technologies.
• Developing decoupled self-contained web applications .Net.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
General:
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Robust analytical and problem solving and decision making skills
• Experience with Agile Methodology
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment ensuring deliverables are of high quality and timelines are met.
Must Have Technical Skills:
• 6+ years of IT experience including 3 years of experience with Black Knight/Empower
• 6+ years of experience with NET / ASP.Net MVC/C#
• REST WebAPI/WCF Services, Rest & SOAP (3+ years)
• Proven experience with SQL Server, TFS, Visual Studio, JavaScript/ES6, JQuery,
• ReactJs or similar stack
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Experience with external facing Web Applications.
Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
