MSD AX Technical Consultant

Position Description
First level Applications Development professional, representing the most common entry point into the organization. Performs routine activities related to applications development. Focuses on learning and acquiring work skills/knowledge in the Applications Development field. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Responsible for the development and initial testing of Microsoft Dynamics AX code changes (fixing, change requests, new code), as directed by the AX Business Analyst. This can be for smaller improvements (change management) but also for the implementation of new entities in AX (projects).
• Design and develop custom Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 functionality, interfaces and/or reports using AX IDE, MorphX, X++, and/or SSRS.
• Design and develop customization in Enterprise portal and workflow
• Perform (Master) data conversions (mapping and migration) into Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Develop custom services with AIF to integrate with other business systems.
• Perform debugging and unit testing of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solutions.
• Provide 2nd line technical support for AX, prior to using an external party, and using a ticketing system Provide technical documentation about the business applications that you develop and/or maintain.
• Communicate and co-operate with internal as well as external partner(s) regarding systems integration and problem solving.
• Participate in making and updating documentation regarding business applications being open to participate in other development activities, such as Web development or .NET application development as member of a broader development team. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Primary Skill: MSD Dynamics AX (X++)
Qualifications and professional knowledge
• The technical or specific knowledge required to perform the job successfully
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 3+ years development experience in Dynamics AX (X++) is a must.
• Experience integrating to and from Dynamics AX using AIF services is a must.
• Understanding of Dynamics AX 2012 data structures is a must
• Certified in Dynamics 2012 developer (preferred).
• Experience modifying or creating new reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (preferred).
• Experience with Dynamics AX BI (Role Centers, KPI's, Cubes) (preferred).
• Experience with Web or .NET development is a plus.
• Experience from working in an international company (preferred).
• English: Good verbal and written skills must.
