Position Description:

If so, joining CGI as a Momentum ERP Trainer could be the ideal opportunity for you. CGI is actively seeking an experienced trainer skilled in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and training material creation and execution to support a significant Momentum upgrade at a large federal agency.
Candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training initiatives required to support a successful Momentum upgrade. This is a great opportunity to expand your skillset in areas such as project management, client management, and business analysis supporting an agency-wide financial and procurement system. Potential multiple growth paths including senior subject matter expert/senior consultant and future team lead/project management opportunities.
This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Fairfax, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Work on a team of trainers deploying effective training techniques based on best practices.
- Creation and development of training materials, including presentations and demonstrations, job aids, electronic learning modules (ELMs), and additional supplemental materials for multiple end users, and eventually help desk support.
- Assist in the development, review, maintenance, and consistency of training deliverables.
- Assist in gathering requirements (business, functional and technical) using collaborative meetings and discussions with the customers, stakeholders, and the development team.
- Become familiar with the client’s business processes by reviewing current processes and mapping them to future state (“to be”) processes.
- Attend internal meetings, in addition to client stakeholder meetings.
- Develop and update training documentation, as needed.
- Assist in tracking, monitoring, and resolving training risks, issues, and action items.
- Work on cross-functional initiatives within the project lifecycle.
- Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team; generate, propose, and implement innovative solutions to solve them.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 2+ years of experience supporting Momentum ERP.
- 3+ years of experience executing classroom and/or virtual training.
- Familiarity with training users/new users on a financial system.
- 3+ years designing and developing training materials.
- Strong command of MS Office tools.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- Experience creating eLearning content.
- Experience working directly with clients and ability to lead meetings.
- Detail Oriented.
- Issue resolution experience.
- Action Oriented.
- Critical/Analytical Thinking.
- Excellent communication skills; oral/written.
- Teamwork Experience.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and provides high-quality deliverables.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Project Management experience.
- Experience with SharePoint.
- Experience with ticketing systems (i.e., JIRA).
- Experience working on major implementation/upgrade programs ($1B and above).
- Team Leadership experience, including mentoring junior team members.
- Risk Management.
- Client Management.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800.00 - $146,800.00.
