Position Description:

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Momentum Business Analyst I within our Intel sector, advancing the national security mission through innovative financial technology solutions. As a junior analyst, you will assist with translating business requirements into functional configurations, execute test cases, and provide day to day user support across core financial modules.
CGI Federal is growing its high performance team, delivering scalable and advanced IT solutions in a fast paced, outcome driven environment. This position is onsite in Rosslyn, Virginia.

This position is located in Arlington, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Level 1:
.    Configure Momentum modules to support compliant federal financial workflows (e.g., General Ledger, Budget Execution, Purchasing, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Automated Disbursements). 
.    Analyze and document business and functional capabilities; embed requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria. 
.    Develop and execute functional test cases; support integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT); validate end to end workflows.
.    Serve as functional support for assigned Momentum modules; receive, investigate, and resolve user inquiries; maintain functional design and configuration documentation. 
.    Participate in status reporting, issue tracking, and release planning activities.

Level II:
.    Own functional configuration for assigned modules; review functional designs and configuration changes; maintain documentation
.    Provide comprehensive end user support for functional matters related to Momentum Financials and associated financial processes
.    Lead requirements elaboration; embed functional requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria; validate cross module business workflows 
.    Develop comprehensive test scenarios; coordinate integration/UAT; partner with technical developers to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
.    Prepare and maintain functional specification documentation and assist with application testing procedures
.    Support implementation, enhancements, and upgrades of Momentum applications; contribute to status reporting, issue tracking, and release planning.

Level III:
.    Support end to end functional designs; identify functional gaps, configuration issues, and process defects across modules.
.    Provide comprehensive end user support for functional matters related to Momentum Financials and associated financial processes
.    Collaborate with stakeholders to refine ERP strategy and roadmap; support functional role design aligned to business responsibilities. 
.    Support periodic access reviews with business owners; develop and oversee test strategies and traceability across integration and UAT.
• Partner with technical teams to resolve defects; ensure thorough documentation and processes.
• Support implementation, enhancements, and upgrades of Momentum applications; contribute to status reporting, issue tracking, and release planning.

Level IV:
• Define and govern enterprise functional standards; review functional designs and configuration baselines across modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine ERP strategy and roadmap; support functional role design aligned to business responsibilities.
• Validate cross‑module integrations and end‑to‑end business workflows; sponsor UAT strategies and release readiness.
• Partner with technical teams to resolve defects; ensure thorough documentation and processes.
• Support implementation, enhancements, and upgrades of Momentum applications
• Lead resolution of systemic issues; contribute to status reporting, issue tracking, and release planning.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Level I:
.    2+ years of experience with Momentum; financial and management reporting and financial accounting
.    Experience with federal/DoD financial systems and understanding of standard DoD financial interfaces.
.    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
.    Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for upgrade to SCI with CI Poly.
.    Ability to work onsite 100% of the time
Desired Skills:
.    Bachelor's degree in a related field 
.    Proficient in business intelligence reporting tools and financial dashboard management
.    DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications (e.g., Security+) are a plus.
.    Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills 
.    Exhibits meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high quality work products
.    Capable of working independently while providing valuable contributions within a collaborative team environment

Level II:
.    4+ Momentum functional experience, with module lead exposure (GL, Budget, Purchasing, AP/AR, Automated Disbursements)
.    Experience supporting federal/DoD financial systems 
.    Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for upgrade to SCI with CI Poly
.    Ability to work onsite 100% of the time
Desired Skills:
.    Bachelor's degree in a related field 
.    Proficient in business intelligence reporting tools and financial dashboard management
.    DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications (e.g., Security+) are a plus.
.    Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills 
.    Exhibits meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high quality work products

.    8+ Momentum functional experience, with module lead exposure (GL, Budget, Purchasing, AP/AR, Automated Disbursements)

.    Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for upgrade to SCI with CI Poly
.    Ability to work onsite 100% of the time

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $218,200.00.
