Position Description:

NetApp Storage SME - 10+ years exp

In this role, the candidate should have hands-on experience with NetApp technologies (e.g., ONTAP, CVO, Metrocluster, StorageGRID) and a strong understanding of storage architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices.

1. Storage Administration and Management: Minimum of 10 years in NetApp solutions. Deploy, configure, and manage NetApp storage systems (CDOT, CVO) and troubleshoot performance issues. Strong understanding of NetApp Storage concepts, including snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, SnapMirror, and Snaplock. Expertise in storage monitoring, troubleshooting, administration, replication technologies, security hardening, and performance tuning. Proficiency in advanced ONTAP features, including MetroCluster, FabricPool, Tiering, AQoS, FlexCache, ONTAP S3, and ransomware protection. Hands-on experience with AIQ, AIQUM, Cloud Insights, and StorageGRID Object Store. Knowledge of object store services across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Ability to analyse and resolve performance issues using Grafana. Excellent communication skills and customer-facing support. Familiarity with outsourcing/managed services and cloud-managed services. Experience in ITIL methodologies, including change, incident, problem, and configuration management.
13. MCC Management: Implement, configure, and manage MCC solutions, ensuring high availability and optimized performance.
15. Storage GRID Management: Implement, configure, and manage Storage GRID solutions, ensuring high availability and optimized performance for object storage.
17. Upgrades: Plan, execute, troubleshoot, and Perform ONTAP upgrades, including Disk ,DQP, SP ,Firmware and BIOS. Plan, execute, troubleshoot, and perform MetroCluster and SG upgrades. Plan, execute, troubleshoot, and Perform upgrades for Broadcom, Cisco, NVIDIA
