Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for a Jr. SharePoint Administrator to support our client-facing team of Developers and Trainers at Passport HQ in DC.

We are looking for a Jr. SP Administrator to join our experienced team of Developers to assist with the overall SharePoint and intranet environment of five site collections for Passport Services. This position contributes to design, implementation, administration, development, maintenance and support of sites, to include SharePoint upgrades and any SharePoint needs from various practice groups and departments.

In this collaborative environment, our team partners closely with government representatives to update and/or modify existing sites and to serve as the liaison between the government and the CGI SharePoint Developer. Ideal fit is someone with excellent organization and communication skills, with a self-starter mentality and willingness to provide training on SharePoint as needed. Your future duties and responsibilities
The Jr. SharePoint Administrator will assist with the design, implementation, administration, development, maintenance and support of the SharePoint and intranet environment of five site collections for Passport Services. This includes SharePoint upgrades and any SharePoint needs from various practice groups and departments.

The team member will be responsible for administering and maintaining SharePoint Site collections as well as working with the SharePoint Developer to provide SharePoint solutions.

The team member will work closely with government representatives to update and/or modify existing sites and to serve as the liaison between the government and the CGI SharePoint Developer.

The team member will have excellent organization and communication skills and is a self-starter and will provide training on SharePoint as needed.

Must be willing to perform the above expectations to also include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Assist in the clean-up and migration of SharePoint 2010 Site Collections to SharePoint 2013.
• Support of all SharePoint environment components including typical system administrative activities such as granting permissions, site creation, user training, performance analysis, and issue resolution.
• Develop, customize/enhance SharePoint applications utilizing webparts, workflows, alerts, etc. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 1 year experience supporting the administering and deployment enterprise wide SharePoint implementations and customizations, to include permissions, lists libraries, Wiki, workflows, and other platform offerings
• Minimum of 1 year experience with SharePoint 2010 including custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Workflows, and InfoPath
• Proven analytical thinking, problem solving and strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills are required.
• An ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to effectively use MS-Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other MS-Office products.
• Administer and maintain Intranet SharePoint sites in support of the CA/PPT Offices and Agencies.
• Provide product support to users and stakeholders including content managers, portal owners, software quality assurance, applications development, and applications support teams.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for deployed SharePoint Content Applications.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to effectively use MS-Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other MS-Office products.
• Ability to work with digital video/audio training media.
• Administer and maintain Intranet SharePoint sites in support of the CA/PPT Offices and Agencies.
• Experience in working in a Government contract environment.
• Experience with Consular Affairs/Passport Services.
