Junior PHP/Drupal Developer
Position Description
CGI is looking for a junior to mid-level developer proficient in Drupal, PHP, and JQuery to join our Federal Business Unit who will support the EPA account team. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to support EPA’s public-facing web sites, helping to educate the public on environmental regulations and issues. The selected candidate will also build applications to collect environmetal data reported by industry to EPA to comply with environmental regulations, directly impacting EPA’s mission to protect human health and the environment. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Writing and reviewing source code using Agile development practices
• Participation in testing efforts
• Troubleshooting technical issues Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline is required
• Minimum 2 years experience in software development and IT consulting (Candidates with a Masters Degree must have a minimum of 1 year of experience)
• Proficiency in PHP, Drupal, JQuery
• Experience with Java, Bootstrap, Oracle development languages
• Experience developing and consuming REST web services
• Consulting experience
• Strong Javascript skills and front end UI/mockup experience
• Knowledge of the full software life cycle
• Knowledge and experience with Agile development methodology
