IT Systems Architect

Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Architect to join our Architecture Team within a program delivered for a large public institution. The program involves the delivery of IT solutions by multiple contractors and vendors.

Job responsibilities:

• Working within a team of IT Architects and collaborating with the Enterprise Architect and Business Analysts.
• Ensuring that the solution architecture complies with high-level requirements defined within the program and with industry standards.
• Overseeing the documentation of IT solution architecture, ensuring quality and compliance of documentation provided by external contractors.
• Supporting architectural decision-making processes and participating in the Architecture Board.
Maintaining high-level architectural documentation and ensuring it remains up to date in a dynamically changing technological and business environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Knowledge of UML notation and experience in documenting system architecture using Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Familiarity with modern system architecture stacks based on containerization and microservices architecture.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in designing IT system architecture and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the IT industry.
• The candidate must have acted as a system architect in at least 2 projects throughout their full lifecycle; in at least one of these projects, software development was carried out using Agile methodology. Each of these projects must have had a value of at least PLN 3,000,000 gross.
• Fluent Polish (spoken and written).
• ArchiMate Foundation certification.
TOGAF 9 certification.
