Job Overview

As a security manager, she/he will manage efficient security strategies to safeguard our organization’s assets. She/he will protect our company and maintain a secure work environment. We seek a highly skilled individual with a deep understanding of security strategies and a proven track record in managing security operations.
• Developing and implementing robust security strategies and policies.
• Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches, and enforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects.
• Conducting regular security assessments and inspections and supporting audits to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Maintaining risk and response plans.
• Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.
• Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols and procedures.

Tasks:

• Manage extensive security plans, policies, and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and information.
• Lead, train, and supervise a team comprising of employees, suppliers, partners as per organizational needs.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, gaps and deploy improvement actions.
• Manage and contribute to various projects from security perspective supporting design & deployments.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop, manage, and maintain security strategies, plans, procedures.
• Collaborate with cross functional departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
• Support Investigation on security breaches, incidents and violations, document findings and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities.
• Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
• Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Science.
• 10+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience in information security technologies, management & service delivery.
• Excellent knowledge of security aspects that involves Network, Endpoint, Application, Database, Data Security.
• Knowledge & experience in Information Security products such as Firewalls, DNS, VPN, AV/MDR/EDR, IAM, Email, WAF, Cloud security, PKI and are not limited to.
• Knowledge of various frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, ISO, SANS, Zero Trust or Least privilege.
• Ability to manage, develop and implement security policies, procedures, and programs.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety in India.
• Proficiency in supporting security assessments, audits, and investigations at a large scale.
• Proven experience on service delivery management.
• Excellent management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security engagements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact within the organization and its suppliers, vendors technology partners etc.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
• Relevant professional certifications in security management or related areas such as Certified Protection Professional, Certified Security Manager (CSM), Certified Incident Manager, ISO etc.
• Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
• Experience working in shopfloor environments in various industries such as automobile, oil and gas or manufacturing etc.
• Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity framework, principles, and best practices.
• Training & presentation.

• Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
