Intermediate Java + ADF Developer

At CGI, we are looking for a Java + ADF Developer to join an international project.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 4–7 years of experience with Java and Cloud tools.
- Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (min 3 years)
- Experience with Kafka and microservices architecture.
- Good understanding of SQL and service integration.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platform (GCP or Azure) and containerized environments.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain microservices using Java (8–21) and Spring Boot.
- Develop and test code using JUnit, Mockito, and TDD.
- Work with Kafka (both local and Confluent Cloud) for messaging.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for relational databases.
-Develop ETL process with Azure Data Factory
- Create and consume REST/SOAP web services.
- Monitor services using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Deploy and manage containers using Docker, Kubernetes on any Cloud Platforms

- Attention to detail: Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working with different Java versions
- Collaboration: Works well with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and QA.
- Accountability: Takes ownership of code quality, deployments, and service reliability.
- Data transformation: comfortable working with ETL and pipeline on ADF
