Information Architect
CGI Innovation Center of Excellence in Finland develops new services and solutions to our customers in Finland and globally. Our key services consist of Cloud and Information Analytics Solutions, Automation, Design, Enterprise Information Management and AI solutions. We are now facing a high demand for growth and are now looking for an experienced Information Architect to join our strong team at Enterprise Data Management team.
Your job is to transform our customers’ business problems into information management problems and solve them with the help of Information Governance capabilities, creating sustainable business value. An example use case would be that our customer is implementing AI capabilities, but their existing data quality doesn’t fulfil the requirements, and help is needed to increase both quality of data and maturity of data management activities.

Key responsibilities
• Create information and data strategies.
• Identify gaps in current information architecture and propose sustainable and efficient solutions to improve business processes and value of information.
• Support discovery work by understanding and documenting business needs and translating them into information management requirements.
• Develop and implement information architectures and data management practices in our client projects.
• Create high-level conceptual models that define the scope and boundaries of data entities.
• Develop conceptual and logical information models for various business domains to aid data analysts, process execution, and IT system usage or development.
• Lead our customers to enhance their quality and value of information and provide expert advice on relevant information governance methodologies and best practices.

What we hope from you
• Proven experience in information architecture or a related field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Understanding the problem areas of different phases of information lifecycle.
• Facilitation, project management, presentation, business development, and change management skills are of significant advantage in the role.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to transform business problems to information problems and further create value with implemented solutions.
• English, ability to communicate in Finnish is a plus.
