Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Collaborate with Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to create an experience that impacts the future of agriculture.
•Collaborate in the technical design and estimates of solutions to implement new features according to Product specifications.
•Work with an open and inclusive team of engineers committed to continuous improvement and quality.
•Participate in code reviews. In our team, we share knowledge, help each other learn new things, and focus on improving our code.
•Write thorough code and tests (unit, UI, e2e).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Collaborate with Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to create an experience that impacts the future of agriculture.

Desirable:
•Experience with JavaScript language features (ES6+, Promises).
•Experience optimizing the performance of JavaScript/browser applications.
•Experience developing single-page applications (SPA).
•Experience working with Product and Design to launch innovative features.
•Advocate for web standards, accessibility, and modern web development practices.
•Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and tools like Cypress, Jest.
•Experience with any of the following: server-side JavaScript (Node.js), GraphQL, TypeScript.

Complementary Skills:
We are looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join one of our dynamic regional Product delivery teams, working in cloud-based distributed environments. You will have the opportunity to work with large datasets, such as scientific data, machine-generated data from our farmers' equipment, geospatial data, precision agriculture, remote sensing, climate and/or soil data. We are revolutionizing the agricultural industry by helping farmers worldwide sustainably increase their productivity through digital tools.
