Position Description:

As a French Translator, you will translate technical documents, email communications, and interpret during client calls or meetings from English to French and vice versa.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Translate technical documents and email communications from English to French and vice versa.
• Interpret during client calls or meetings.
• Ensure translations reflect original tone, context, and legal compliance in both languages.
• Review and proofread translated content for quality assurance.
• Ensure strict confidentiality in handling sensitive company information.
• Ensure you are aware of the service level agreement as it relates to call for any given customer.
• Ensure you take ownership for any call assigned to you until that point at which it is closed or formally passed to another consultant.
• Ensure you provide the customer with updates on a regular basis (commensurate with the SLA), within working hours.
• To keep technical skills and business knowledge up to date, in line with the needs of support customers.
• Maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Participate in any improvement initiatives, as required.
• Keep company CV and skills profile up to date.
• Ensure you are aware of any particular customer satisfaction initiatives or customer specific organizational issues and take these into account when dealing with these customers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 1-2 years’ experience in translation and interpreting.
• Native or near-native fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.
• Must have a strong focus on customer needs.
• Must have analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and open to learning.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Works well with others and is a team player.
• Must be amenable to working onsite 2-3 days a week on a mid-shift schedule in McKinley, Taguig.
