Facility Security Officer (FSO)
The Facility Security Officer (FSO) will be directly responsible for operating an efficient security program which is in compliance with the NISPOM and consistent with corporate, customer security policies, procedures and requirements. Primary duties include completing DD-254 packages, fingerprinting, generation of visit authorization letters (VALs), use of JPAS, and coordination with customer security representatives to process security clearance requirements. Protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures. Conduct security briefings and conduct security education programs briefings. Investigate losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions. Candidate shall have the ability and flexibility to move from one task to another and to be available for a variety of tasks as the need arises. In addition, the candidate must be detail oriented and must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Perform COMSEC custodian duties. Responsible for the generation, receipt, custody, distribution, safeguard, disposition or destruction, and accounting of COMSEC material entrusted to the account.

- Will assist local Project Manager (PM) with contract related duties at least 25% of the time.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- FSO Certification
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
- Practical knowledge and experience with JPAS, e-QIP and NISS (eFCL)
- Experience maintaining records require for DSS and Corporate review
- DIAS (COMSEC) experience preferred
