ERP Technical Analyst (GCDocs/OpenText)

Position Description
CGI has an immediate position for an ERP Technical Analyst for the Program Security Management Team, responsible for identifying the technical security aspects of OpenText Content Server, in support of the Security Assessment and Authorization of the solution and related products. This involves providing evidence that the solution meets specific security requirements, identifying any gaps, and making recommendations to address gaps.

The Technical Analyst will be required to work independently and within a team to meet the departments’ goals. Almost all of the work performed is carried out in multi- departmental teams, so the ability to work effectively with diverse groups is a critical aspect of the requirement.

The Technical Analyst is required to perform the tasks and provide the deliverables as outlined below. In order to perform these tasks the individual is required to possess strong technical knowledge and experience in the security aspects of the ERP, experience in systems analysis, ability to resolve complex technical problem and be familiar with the integration of various modules and components. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Comprehensive understanding of the technical capabilities offered by ERP facilities.

• Develop or assist with business and functional requirements, project scope, estimates of effort and duration.

• Translate functional and business requirements into technical requirements.

• Develop and/or manage technical aspects of application software, user interfaces, and third-party components.

• Conduct, assist with, an/or manage unit and system tests.

• Establish technical standards for the technical framework. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Conduct security risk assessments/impact analysis of the current GCDOCS solution and/or proposed changes to the solution.

• Identify the technical security aspects of the GCDOCS solution that meet specific security requirements.

• Identify any security shortcomings, gaps, or vulnerabilities in the current GCDOCS solution and/or propose changes to the solution.

• Propose and develop solutions to address or mitigate any security gaps in the current GCDOCS solution and/or proposed changes to the solution.

• Analyze and recommend alternatives and options for solutions. At CGI, we’re a team of builders.
