Job Title: Data Integration Analyst
Position: Software Engineer
Experience: 3 years to 5 years
Category: Software Development/ Engineering
Main location: Bangalore
Position ID: J1225-0314
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description: Responsibilities: -
Overview: The Data Integration Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical implementation. In this position, you will ensure seamless communication and data flow between various systems, aligning integration solutions with business processes and objectives. Reporting to the Integration Lead, you'll work cross-functionally to gather requirements, design integration workflows, and oversee implementation of APIs, middleware, and messaging solutions. This role requires a blend of functional analysis and technical integration expertise. You will regularly interact with stakeholders such as Epic Owners, Solution Owners, and Solution Architects to ensure integration efforts meet both business and technical goals.

Key Responsibilities
. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including Epic Owners, Solution Owners, and Solution Architects – to collect functional (including data-mapping between systems) and non-functional requirements and understand integration needs across various systems. This involves acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure all requirements are captured.
. Business Process Analysis: Review and interpret business process designs (e.g., models in ARIS) to identify integration points between applications. Use these models to unearth where data or workflow integrations are required, ensuring that integration needs align with business process flows.
. Implementation Coordination: Work closely with development teams to support them in implementing the designed integration components. Ensure the solutions are delivered as designed, on time and on budget.
. Testing & Troubleshooting: Coordinate and participate in the testing of integration solutions. This includes verifying that functional requirements are met and non-functional criteria (like performance and security) are satisfied. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve integration issues or errors identified during testing to ensure integrations work correctly before deployment.
. Documentation: Document integration requirements, designs, and workflows in a clear and detailed manner. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation (integration inventory, interface specifications, mapping documents, process flow diagrams) to facilitate knowledge transfer, support, and future improvements.

Required Qualifications

. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
. Experience: ~3-5 years of experience as functional analyst, with demonstrable hands-on experience in integration projects (either as integration developer or as analyst).
. Integration Knowledge: Good understanding of integration patterns and methodologies. Knowledge of REST APIs and data formats/protocols like JSON, XML, etc. You should be comfortable with how different systems exchange data and how to integrate them effectively.
. Technical Skills: Familiarity with integration platforms or middleware (such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi) and data transformation tools. Experience working with databases and basic proficiency in SQL (or Salesforce SOQL).
. Analytical & Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to assess complex business processes and define integration solutions. Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail, especially when detecting potential bottlenecks and points of failure.
. Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications (and vice versa). You should be adept at working in a team and collaborating with both technical developers and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

. Integration Platforms: Hands-on experience with enterprise integration tools or platforms such as Dell Boomi (highly desired), MuleSoft, or similar iPaaS/ESB solutions.
. Messaging & Streaming: Experience with message brokers or streaming platforms, especially Apache Kafka, or other messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ) for event-driven integration patterns. Understanding of how to integrate systems asynchronously using queues/topics is a plus.
. Business Process Modeling: Exposure to business process modeling tools and techniques. Experience with ARIS or similar BPM tools is beneficial, as it will help in reviewing process flows and correlating them with integration needs (beyond just having used ARIS in the responsibility, this implies deeper familiarity).
. Programming/Scripting: Ability to write or understand code for automation and integration purposes. Experience with a programming or scripting language (such as Python or Java) for creating integration scripts, custom API endpoints, or automation of data flows is an advantage[1]. This could stem from having worked as a developer or writing integration test scripts.
. Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional agile teams. Experience in an environment with Epics and user stories (e.g., SAFe/Agile frameworks) can be a plus, given the role's interaction with Epic Owners and iteration on requirements.
. Additional Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, Dell Boomi Professional, or other integration-related certs) or training in integration technologies will be a plus, as they demonstrate validated expertise.

Language Skills

. English: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this role, as it is the primary working language and necessary for collaborating with teams across Europe.
. Spanish/French: Proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a nice-to-have. While not required, ability to communicate in these languages is beneficial for liaising with certain stakeholders and contributes to working effectively in our multicultural environment.

Skills:

·  Data Analysis
·  RESTful (Rest-APIs)
·  SQLite
