Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineering to lead key transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on CI/CD modernization, cloud migration, and automation. This role requires hands-on expertise in DevOps tooling, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive scalable and secure solutions.

This is a hybrid role based in downtown Toronto, requiring on-site presence at the client location and/or our office a minimum of 2 days per week (subject to change).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Lead the migration of applications to GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC), ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
- Develop and enhance DevOps processes, identifying opportunities and designing solutions with a focus on automation, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across the DevOps pipeline, identifying and implementing long-term, sustainable solutions.
- Spearhead the integration of CI/CD pipelines with ServiceNow for change automation.
- Lead the migration from legacy security tools to modern solutions such as HashiCorp Vault and Snyk.
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Contribute to and improve documentation for DevOps processes, tools, and workflows.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- 5-7+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or related roles
- Strong expertise in GitHub Actions-based CI/CD
- Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps and experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC)
- Advanced scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with SonarQube
- Expertise in integrating DevOps pipelines with ServiceNow for ITSM automation
- Build tools: Maven, Gradle, Microsoft Build
- Packaging tools: RPM, InstallShield
- Operating systems: Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Containerization: OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud platform: Azure

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
