Location: Ottawa
Bilingual: Fluency in French is required
Security Clearance required: Secret Security Clearance (Must have or be able to obtain)

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Bilingual Desktop Support Specialist on our team, you will be working on all Desktop related requests and incidents within an aviation training environment. This role will require you to have strong communication, coordination, and troubleshooting skills that can be applied to your daily workload. If you are an experienced Desktop Support Technician are a natural leader and not afraid to interface with Executives, love working on a tight knit team, and interacting with others to resolve complex problems we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Managing workload of requests and incidents in ServiceNow ensuring we meet our expected service levels
· Ensuring adequate levels of inventory in stock pools and putting in requests to procure more equipment when minimums are reached
· Supporting end users both on-site and remotely leveraging remote desktop tools
· Troubleshooting all hardware and software issues, coordinating with third party vendors for any hardware that requires in-warranty parts replacement
· Install operating systems and build/rebuild workstations
· Create, review, and maintain key process documents to support operations
· Support level 3 teams for complex issue resolution
· Manage the support of all Executives and their Assistants
· Provide Smart hands support during business hours and after business hours for Network and Infrastructure teams as needed
· Support meeting room conferencing equipment and provide assistance for any setups or demonstrations
· Provide best efforts troubleshooting on all managed printers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Essential Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician
• Experience imaging new stock and reimaging stock to return to inventory
• Experience supporting meeting room conferencing equipment (configuration, setup, troubleshooting)
• Management of IT assets in ServiceNow CMDB
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, iOS
• Secret Clearance or Eligibillity for Secret Clearance
• Bilingual (EN / FR)

• Team player that has the willingness to work with peers and manage group workloads
• Experience working in the aviation sector / corporate enterprise environment
• Natural leader that continuously looks at process improvement

Professional Attributes:
• Highly organized individual with strong communication skills, able to translate technical terminology into simple language for understanding
• Willingness to work on-site at the Client's office (three days per week and subject to potential increase in days in the future)
• Process improvement oriented (find the root cause of the issue)

Education and Certification
• Bachelor's degree with a focus on Information Technology/Communications, or equivalent working experience
