Delivery Manager
Position Description
A Delivery Manager for a global team. Their central duty is to ensure that the Front and Back Office delivery meets the Product Owner’s expectations. The Delivery Manager must be a detail-oriented multi-task with great communication skills and able to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Assist Product Owner
One of the Delivery Manager’s key functions is to provide coordination between front office and back office to ensure a seamless contribution to the program’s work products. This will take the form of any number of actions. Often, they’re assisting with the tasks outlined below, but they may also be asked to perform clerical duties, maintain contact with clients and parties involves through email and phone calls, answer questions and concerns, prepare presentations, and enter project data.
Review and Coordinate BO Deliverables
The Delivery Manager is responsible to ensure that front and back office work products are received in a timely, accurate, and functioning manner. This will require team-management, coordination, and relevant knowledge on the solution (Salesforce.com).
Create Project Plans
The Delivery Managers provides input to develop concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, the budget, outlining the duties of each team members, identifying project goals, and setting a timeline for the project. They collaborate with various teams and hold meetings to develop project plans and present them to upper-level management before starting the project.
Monitor Project Progress
It is important that the Delivery Manager closely monitors each project he or she manages to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, and develop according to plan. They’re responsible not only for identifying project objectives, but ensuring that they’re met.
Report Project Results
Once a project is complete, the Delivery Manager, in conjunction with the Product Owner, is responsible for gathering and documenting all project results and then reporting or presenting them to the appropriate parties. This usually includes clients and upper-level management. They should report on the success of the project and any setbacks that were encountered or room for improvement.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required.
Experience: Minimum three years' experience of project management experience

Salesforce.com knowledge
Knowing project management methodology
Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office
Industry-specific knowledge
Ability to document & ability to build visuals such as roadmaps, timelines, etc
Coordination, work with team to update the status on all items (Epics, story to Epic)
Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
Client friendliness with the ability to build and maintain trusting and value added client relationships
Must be able to work on-site at client location in Charlotte NC
Preferred skills:
Experience with specific project management methodologies such as Scrum and Agile
Project Management Professional Certification
Industry-specific experience
