Your future duties and responsibilities:

Working as a data warehouse/data engineering expert at CGI means a varied everyday life. Here you are offered the opportunity to develop as a consultant both in local customer deliveries and in major global commitments. You can work in small, short projects a few months to large long commitments. We participate in and run projects and commitments on site at our client´s offices, but mainly from our local offices. We work both individually and together with other colleagues in our projects. Our assignments are carried out with the support of established methods and models based on industry standards.

As a data warehouse expert, you will be responsible for bringing expertise in data modeling and data engineering. You will be part of a team that delivers solutions to our major clients in the financial services sector. You will independently engage with expert stakeholders at Sweden's top-tier banks and insurance companies to solve their most demanding challenges. Your role will involve solving complex digital initiatives, facilitating the decision-making process, and quickly finding solutions to emerging obstacles. Your deliverables will require close collaboration with highly skilled, multidisciplinary teams spread across different geographies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with a strong drive and a client-focused
mindset. You have experience in data and solution creation and are used to working in complex environments. Additionally, you hold an academic degree in computer science, technology, or engineering.

We want you to have experience from / within:

• Design and implement advanced Data Warehouse solutions that enable agile data modeling and analysis
• Data architecture
• Optimization and management of data flows to ensure high availability and performance. Design/develop ETL
• Drive the transition to and an understanding of Cloud Architecture for designing robust solutions that incorporate technology, strategy, culture, and processes
• Data Migration experience – Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server or Hadoop workloads to cloud DWH (Snowflake/RedShift/Big Query)
• IT Application Support
• Strong technical team leadership mentorship and collaboration
