Data Engineer - DataStage with French

Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced DataStage Developer with strong ETL expertise and at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with IBM DataStage. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in French (spoken and written) and be comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that support data integration and transformation requirements for our business stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.
• Analyze source systems and define data mappings and transformations.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize DataStage jobs for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes and data quality issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes.
• Communicate with French-speaking stakeholders and support data-related discussions in French.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with IBM DataStage.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing principles.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
• Experience with job scheduling tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills in English and French (B2 level or higher in French).
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
