Computer Security Systems Analyst 1
Position Description
Analyzes and defines security requirements for Multilevel Security (MLS) issues. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions to MLS requirements. Responsible for the implementation and development of the MLS plans and processes. Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission, goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena. Performs risk analyses which also includes risk assessment, mitigation and contingency planning. Develops and maintains information security policies, procedures and control techniques in accordance with FISMA.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Shall have experience in applying National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800 series guidance to security of complex systems, programs and projects.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelors degree and 4+ years in Computer Science or related area. Certifications in one of the following: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP. As well as skills in:
