Business System Aanalyst

Job description

Position Description:

• 7+ years’ experience as business system analyst, in Investments, Asset Management and/or Capital Markets.
• 3 years’ experience supporting or implementing investment management solutions within Investments, Asset Management and/or Capital Markets.

• Knowledge of the Institutional Investment, Asset Management and/or Capital Markets
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, to strengthen client relationships, building trust and inspiring confidence.
• Proven ability to lead work effort on small enhancement requests from scope definition through work estimation/schedule definition and manage to delivery date.
• Solid facilitation skills to lead requirement elicitation sessions, driving discussion to uncover critical, hidden requirements, the true business need and associated risks.
• Ability to perform business impact analysis and document those. 
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to get to root issues / cause.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills to work effectively in a changing environment balancing operations and project delivery
• Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player
• Strong leadership, planning and consulting skills

Functional skills
• Proficient with Blackrock Aladdin application & functionality, minimum 3 years of experience OR Institutional investments knowledge of Bloomberg or similar Portfolio Management systems.
