Business Analyst - Telecom Industry ( NM1 , Billing , Usage ) - 1 YEAR CONTRACT
Position Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of IT solutions on behalf of our client in the Telecommunications industry.
The successful candidate will have experience working on billing projects (Amdocs(NM1) Billing system, Usage and Roaming Taxation)
This is a 1 year contract. Location Mississauga Your future duties and responsibilities
• Determining client requirements and transforming them into system specifications
• Specifying changes to existing business processes and/or creating new business processes to meet specific customer requirements
• Working closely with business experts, other technical staff, vendors, and contractors to understand business and system requirements that drive the analysis and design of system enhancements and project implementations
• Generating documentation for technical proposals, estimates, general design system test strategies and support procedures.
• Taking ownership of the Requirements Management Plan, System Requirement Specification (SRS) and assisting the Technical Team Lead in creating the System Design Specification (SDS) Documents
• Attending and documenting the necessary meetings to determine the exact requirements, and scheduling and / or conducting BRD and SRS walkthroughs Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience working as a Business Analyst within the Telecommunications Industry
• Experience working on Billing system integration projects - Amdocs , OSS , BSS
• Experience creating SRS , BRD
• Experience working with vendor products configured and integrated in overall solutions and in-house developed solutions
• Experience in Information Technology in all phases of the systems development life cycle in a Waterfall and Agile methodology
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience Undergraduate
