Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Earnix Rating and Analytical platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the implementation and optimization of Earnix solutions for pricing, rating, and personalization.
This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week in any CGI Atlantic location: Halifax, NS, Moncton or Fredericton, NB, Stratford, PE, or St. John's, NL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to rating and pricing strategies.
. Analyze and model business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization using Earnix.
. Configure and support Earnix rating engine components including Price-It and Personalize-It.
. Translate business needs into functional specifications and work with technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
. Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for changes in pricing models or regulatory requirements.
. Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
. Monitor and report on Earnix system performance and recommend enhancements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 5+ years of experience as a BA/BSA in financial services, insurance, or banking.
. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Earnix Rating and Analytical platforms
. Strong understanding of rating engines, pricing strategies, and actuarial concepts.
. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and visualization platforms.
. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
. Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning models.
. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in pricing and rating is nice to have.
. Good to have Earnix certification or formal training.
