Position Description:

Join CGI and contribute to the growth of one of the world’s largest independent IT and business consulting services firms.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for:
• Defining the technical architecture of CGI’s Salesforce environment;
• Developing and maintaining a library of templates, best practices, and reusable knowledge assets;
• Validating the architecture and design of new projects and initiatives;
• Promoting reuse of Salesforce platform components and integration features;
• Identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks that could impact project success;
• Providing technical strategy and guidance for Salesforce deployments, and helping define adoption strategies across CGI;
• Managing complex technical issues and acting as a technical lead for development teams;
• Supporting multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously;
• Leading, mentoring, and training team members, while overseeing daily technical activities;
• Facilitating design workshops and promoting best-in-class architectural solutions;
• Staying informed about industry trends in accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and integrating them into future solutions;
• Maintaining a strong understanding of CGI’s business domains, applications, and functional requirements;
• Supporting all phases of the project lifecycle: analysis, design, development, deployment, and post-delivery support.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• University degree or college diploma in computer science or equivalent;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
• Strong team spirit and client-service orientation;
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and meet tight deadlines;
• Deep practical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including implementation best practices and enterprise systems integration;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams of varying technical expertise;
• Proficiency in both French and English (bilingualism required for this global role);
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud), workflows, mobility, SSO, and APIs;
• Proven technical leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels;
• Experience designing architectures for medium- and large-scale projects;
• Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce community and portal implementations;
• Advanced proficiency with Force.com development, Lightning components, APEX, Visualforce, AppExchange apps, and system integration
