Position Description:
The CGI GTO Transformation team is the creative force behind CGI Unify360 management platform, one of the core components of our worldwide service offering for transformational IT outsourcing enablement called CGI Unify360 Suite. CGI Unify360 is a cloud application, a data platform and an integration gateway to deliver unique user experience for managing todays IT landscape that spans beyond traditional enterprise boundaries.
It is built using a very wide spectrum of open source products and software defined infrastructure technologies to allow greater agility and flexibility in order to meet our customer’s specific needs.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
•Perform activities in the domains of CI / CD, build and release engineering, artifact management, and other build and release concerns, typically with a focus on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and cloud-native services.
•Implement new solutions and / or support existing clients while driving cost effective client focused solutions in an iterative manner.
•Work within a cohesive team to balance priorities, shift responsibilities, and cross-train on a continuous basis.
•Research, develop, and recommend emerging technologies, as well as design and implementation patterns for those technologies, and help others to do the same.
•Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the following- (may be a combination of work and education experience)
Proficiency in DevOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, DockerHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Puppet, Chef).
Hands-on expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems.
Practical experience in infrastructure monitoring.
Hands-on proficiency in virtualization.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills by actively sharing hands-on knowledge and experience with team members under the guidance of the functional lead.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodology (Jira) is an asset.
Hands-on proficiency with source control tools (Git).
Excellent hands-on verbal communication skills (English and French mandatory).
