BI Publisher Developer/Tester

Job description

Position Description:

• Deep understanding of BI Publisher features, functionalities, and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with OAC architecture, data sources, and navigation within the cloud platform.
• Ability to read and understand SQR Code.
• Ability to analyze data requirements, identify key metrics, and design data transformations to generate meaningful reports.
• Strong proficiency in creating visually appealing and user-friendly report layouts with advanced formatting options.
• Creating data models in BI Publisher by defining data sources, transformations, and aggregations to extract relevant information from Oracle Cloud applications or external databases.
• Utilizing tools like Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat to design visually appealing report templates with formatting, tables, and graphics, leveraging RTF (Rich Text Format) for flexibility.
• Building complex BI Publisher reports by linking data models to report layouts, incorporating calculations, conditional logic, and parameters to generate dynamic reports.
• Setting up automated report generation and distribution schedules through BI Publisher, delivering reports in various formats like PDF, Excel, HTML, or email depending on user needs.
• Managing user permissions and security settings within BI Publisher to control who can access and modify reports.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance
