Azure Data Analyst

Job description

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St, Toronto) and/or Client office.   

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.    Collaborate with business lines to analyze current state and gather, analyze, and document requirements related to ETL pipelines, upstream and downstream systems
.    Write detailed business and functional specifications for internal and external system interfaces.        
.    Lead requirements workshops and create artifacts such as data flow diagrams, process models, and mapping documents.    
.    Work with development team on the mapping documents, Dashboards, reporting and triage issues.
.    Assist in testing efforts through scenario definition, defect triage, and requirements traceability.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.    6+ years in gathering business requirements, use case modeling, and stakeholder engagement.  
.    Experience translating business needs into functional specs, BRDs, and system documentation
Must have
.    Strong SQL and Data Analysis 
.    Azure Databricks & Azure Data Factory
.    Azure Functions, Azure Synapse 
.    Exposure to Data modeling tool
.    Good Communication skill
