Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Automation tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and testing scalable and high-performance applications

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for functional, regression, and API testing.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data in collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders.
• Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
• Perform end-to-end testing of web applications and REST APIs, ensuring high-quality releases.
• Troubleshoot issues with test scripts and the applications being tested.
• Perform performance testing for API services using Rest Assured and other performance testing tools.
• Document test results, log defects, and follow through on issue resolution with development teams.
• Ensure the automation test scripts follow coding standards and best practices.
• Work closely with developers to design, develop, and execute the automated tests in parallel with development work.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to testing processes and frameworks.
• Participate in Agile development sprints, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Must-Have Skills:
• Strong proficiency in UI Automation with Java and selenium framework.
• Experience with Rest Assured experience.
• Experience with BDD and cucumber framework.
• Familiarity with Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Good to have skills:
Banking domain experience
BDD/Ccucmber framework experience
devops exp in jenkins and git.
