About the Role
CGI Montréal is seeking a Solution Architect to join a large-scale IT transformation initiative within the industrial sector.
The goal of this project is to implement an AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations) solution that will make IT monitoring and automation more proactive, intelligent, and data-driven.
As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in selecting the AIOps product, designing its integration into a complex technology ecosystem, and ensuring alignment with security and enterprise architecture standards. You will act as a bridge between technical teams, cybersecurity, and vendors to deliver a robust, scalable solution.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop the detailed solution design for the selected AIOps platform and its integration into the client’s IT environment.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Change Management, and Enterprise Architecture teams to validate and secure technical approvals.
• Support vendor delivery by providing technical guidance and proactive requests during implementation.
• Advise change management teams to ensure early stakeholder engagement and smooth adoption.
• Document all designs and processes in the IT Automation architecture repository.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of AIOps concepts, automation, and tool integration.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage cross-functional technical activities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills in both technical and business contexts.
• Bilingualism (French and English) required.
Technical Environment
Experience with one or more of the following tools and technologies is considered an asset:
• AIOps and IT monitoring platforms (e.g. Dynatrace, Moogsoft, Splunk ITSI, BigPanda, ServiceNow ITOM)
• IT automation and observability frameworks
• Cloud and hybrid environments
• IT governance, cybersecurity, and architecture review processes

We are seeking individuals with expertise in IT architect-related functions, but licensure from an architect regulator is not a prerequisite for this position. Architecture is a regulated profession in Canada which is restricted in terms of use of titles and designation.
