Annuity Technical Subject Matter Expert

Position Description
Technical SME that works with a TPA (Third Party Administer) and a large Life and Annuity Insurance company. The Technical SME will assist in creating a platform for Indexed Annuity Products and work hand in hand with the TPAs operations team in creating a seamless and flexible platform in Administering the Indexed Annuity. Best candidates will possess DTCC integration experience along with Java skills. A plus would be excellent communication and written Skills.

Ideal location for this role is in Hartford, CT, but will consider candidates willing to go to NYC, Cranford, NJ or Lafayette, LA.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Develop a world class policy admin platform for the operations team to administer Annuity products Indexed Annuities.
Develop a strategic DTCC interface for clearing purposes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Deep Annuity Experience (10 years) within the systems / administration platform space

Deep understanding of interfaces with the DTCC 10+ years

Excellent Communication Skills both oral and written

Java Skills 7-10 Years
