Associate Scientist Lab Test Harmonization

Job description

As an Associate Scientist Lab Test Harmonizaton,
You will manage the Proficiency Testing (PT) program across our global network by supporting logistic teams, maintains PT stock, review invoices sent by PT provider, and sending out weekly testing schedules to our partner labs for PT programs.
You contact partner labs when results are missing, you create monthly overviews on outstanding issues and follow-up with the partner labs until the deviation is solved.
Classifying and archiving the PT reports and all associated documents in accordance to our standard procedure.
Acting as a first line response when aberrant results are observed on the PT reports.
You collaborate with various internal stakeholders (Scientific Operations, Lab Partnership, Lab Audit team) by presenting overviews on performance, trend analysis and escalations if needed.

You will manage cross-laboratory transparency testing by setting-up global tests per need of clinical trial
Performing Data analysis of incoming results, apply statistical analysis according to our standard procedures and document findings in a transparency report.
You support our labs in the procedure of instrument switches during clinical trials overseeing global transparency.
You report findings to operational teams supporting and sponsor and advise in opting the best solution per trial needs

You are responsible for BATCH monitoring for all partner and subcontractor labs by reviewing stability, correct storage and shipment of samples and informing the responsible teams if actions need to be taken.

Desired profile

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Bachelor or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience in a CRO or laboratory setting.
- Basic Knowledge on the various clinical laboratory testing (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immune assays, etc.), either from a scientific point or from a database management point, or both.
- Analytical mindset
- Highly organized and rigorous with a great attention to details.
- Excellent in communication to technical and to cross-functional teams
- Hands-on mentality, autonomous and solution driven
- Fluent in Dutch (EU) and English
