About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our finance department, within the transaction services team as an Invoicing Support Specialist, on a 12month secondment basis.
As an Invoicing Support Specialist it will be your responsibility to manage our daily invoice processes and provide critical support to our key stakeholders. In this role, you’ll help resolve complex invoicing queries, assist Invoicing Administrators on advanced invoicing processes, and make key decisions on the prioritization of supplier payments and statement reconciliation—all while delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll get to work on:
* Support in ensuring invoices are processed prior to them falling overdue and maintain knowledge of the invoicing processes to develop and deliver systems training to requisitioners, approvers and suppliers, ensuring that they possess the requisite skills and knowledge to minimise late payments. Administer more complex supplier invoicing processes, in respect of:
o GRIR
o Consolidated invoices
o Credit notes
o Retentions
o Utility IDOC Invoice Reconciliation
o Maintaining business relationships to ensure best practice
* Provide support with the final checks of all Non Standard Payments (NSP) (c200 a week), such as checking banking details are correct, necessary approvals in line with DOA, invoice data completeness, VAT checks, all to ensure full completeness and compliance are in place before proposing a payment run.
* Dealing with complex invoice and payment queries to provide resolution to internal and external parties.
* Supervise and Administer the Invoice Processes to drive targets/KPI's & adhere to Controls
* Receive, process, collate and provide routine systemised information to / from customers and internal parties and carrying out Bank Verifications in line with controls.
* Operate office systems and equipment, process documents and maintain accurate departmental information that is kept private and confidential at all times.
* Delivery of internal and external audit requirements, and resolving complex adhoc queries, including emergency payment requests and support other team members when required.
* Support with advance training requirements across all process impacting invoice processing, including systems training within SAP, S/4 & Ariba
* Provide support when Testing is carried out on a periodic basis, providing review and Sign off, this includes understanding of full BCM plans for supplier payments.
Who we are looking for:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, SharePoint, Word and Excel skills (data interpretation, manipulation and pivot tables are essential within Microsoft Excel)
* Experience of working within a previous financial environment or similar relevant work history (i.e. SAP Ariba, SAP systems, journaling, accrual management, invoice validation, procurement process)
* The ability to communicate over the phone and via email to our internal and external stakeholders
