Poste et missions:

The Australian business is undergoing a period of exponential growth, following a run of successful PPP, D&C and EPC and O&M tenders in the major transport, renewable energy and building sectors. Bouygues is delivering the NorthConnex, Melbourne Metro and WestConnex projects and a number of large scale Solar Farms across Australia, and has recently acquired a building company to deepen its building capability in the market.
Key Duties:
- Continually assess the project for high risk activities or hazards and implement control measures to eliminate or minimise risk
- The effective implementation of The M&E Project team’s design and subsequent production of “as built” documentation.
- Assist in planning, monitoring and completion of the work packs.
- Ensures the work is carried out and inspected as per the specified requirements, the construction programme and within budget.
- Resolves day to day on site construction coordination related issues with the site supervision teams.
- Subcontractor management and support.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence of management systems and plans including quality, environmental and safety.
- Review performance to identify any inefficiencies or inconsistencies.
- Coordinate with production/construction supervision to ensure milestones are met.
- Manage subcontractors in terms of claims, variations and further contractual obligations.
Profil:
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Extensive experience on multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Proficient in English
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at differen levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
- Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Access and email.
